I-95
- Full Closure: southbound I-95 at Exit 12 (NW 171 Street)
From Sunday, October 19 to Thursday, October 23 between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., all lanes along southbound I-95 will be closed at Exit 12 and traffic will be detoured as follows:- Take the ramp onto southbound SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue
- Turn left onto eastbound SR 916/NW 135 Street
- Take the ramp onto southbound I-95
- Closure: southbound I-95 Express Lanes
From Monday, October 20 to Wednesday, October 22 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., drivers who want to take the southbound I-95 Express Lanes between SR 860/NE 183 Street/Miami Gardens Drive and NW 30 Street will be detoured to use the general purpose lanes along I-95.
- Around-the-clock Ramp Closure: northbound I-95 exit to NW 151 Street
The exit ramp from northbound I-95 onto NW 151 Street (Exit 11) remains closed through summer 2026. Traffic is directed to use the next exit ramp onto eastbound SR 826/NW 167 Street (Exit 12B) or also the previous exit onto SR 916/NW 135 Street (Exit 10B).
- Lane Closures: I-95 between NW 135 Street and the Golden Glades Interchange
- At 9 p.m., one lane in both directions will be closed nightly as needed
- At 11 p.m., a second lane in both directions will be closed nightly as needed

- Exit at SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue
- Turn right onto northbound SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue
- Take the ramp to SR 826 Beaches for NW 167 Street
- Lane Closures: Florida’s Turnpike between SR 860/NW 183 Street/Miami Gardens Drive and I-95
- From 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., up to two lanes in both directions will be closed nightly as needed
SR 826/Palmetto Expressway
- Full Closure: westbound SR 826/Palmetto Expressway at NW 7 Avenue Extension

- Traffic Shift: ramp from eastbound SR 826/Palmetto Expressway to the NW 167 Street and NW 2 Avenue intersection
- A newly completed bridge is now open for the ramp from eastbound SR 826/Palmetto Expressway to the NW 167 Street and NW 2 Avenue intersection.
- Traffic has been shifted to the new ramp as part of the GGI Project improvements.
- The new ramp is located just south of the old ramp.

Northbound SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue is reduced from two lanes to one lane, and southbound SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue is reduced from three lanes to two lanes. The exclusive bicycle lane is temporarily unavailable during this work phase.
NW 151 Street

- Northbound NW 2 Avenue is reduced to one exclusive left turn lane. This is a temporary configuration to continue reconstructing the Golden Glades Interchange.
- The right turn lane from eastbound NW 167 Street to southbound NW 2 Avenue is temporarily unavailable. Please continue east and turn right at NW 1 Avenue or North Miami Avenue.
SR 112/Airport Expressway

NW 171 Terrace

NW 171 Terrace between NW 2 Court and NW 2 Avenue remains closed around the clock through early 2027 for overhead bridge work. Traffic is being detoured to NW 7 Avenue Extension.
NW 6 Avenue
- Around-the-clock Full Closure: NW 6 Avenue between NW 151 Street and NW 162 Street
Drivers and pedestrians who want to go north onto NW 6 Avenue from the intersection of NW 151 Street and NW 6 Avenue will be detoured as follows:- Go east along NW 151 Street
- Turn right onto southbound South Biscayne River Drive
- Take the third exit at the roundabout onto northbound North Miami Avenue
- Turn left onto northbound Memorial Highway, which converts to NW 2 Avenue
- Continue north along NW 2 Avenue to NW 165 Street
- Drivers and pedestrians who want to go south onto NW 6 Avenue from the intersection of NW 165 Street and NW 2 Avenue will be detoured as follows:
- Continue south along NW 2 Avenue, which converts to Memorial Highway
- Turn right onto southbound North Miami Avenue
- Turn right onto northbound South Biscayne River Drive
- Turn left onto westbound NW 151 Street
- Continue west along NW 151 Street to NW 6 Avenue
Project Progress
Below is a photograph facing northeast in the median of eastbound and westbound SR 826/Palmetto Expressway. Crews are doing preparation work called bridge pile preforming. This process involves predrilling or loosening the soil at each bridge pile location before the piles are driven into place. This helps when soil conditions are too dense or to minimize vibrations to nearby structures.
