The following closures are scheduled between Sunday, June 22 and Sunday, June 29. These closures will allow crews to perform bridge work, roadway paving, drainage work and temporary concrete barrier wall installation.
I-95
- Ramp Closure: northbound I-95 to northbound Florida’s Turnpike
On Monday, June 23 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. and Friday, June 27 at 10 p.m. until Sunday, June 29 at 7 a.m., the ramp from northbound I-95 to northbound Florida’s Turnpike will be closed, and traffic will be detoured as follows:- Continue north along I-95 and take the ramp to SR 7/US 441/NW 2 Avenue
- Turn left onto westbound NW 7 Avenue Extension
- Take the ramp to northbound Florida’s Turnpike
- Ramp Closure: northbound I-95 to westbound Palmetto Expressway
On Monday, June 23 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. and Friday, June 27 at 10 p.m. until Sunday, June 29 at 7 a.m., the ramp from northbound I-95 to westbound Palmetto Expressway will be closed and traffic will be detoured as follows:- Continue north along I-95 and take the ramp to SR 7/US 441/NW 2 Avenue
- Turn left onto westbound NW 7 Avenue Extension
- Continue west for westbound SR 826/Palmetto Expressway
- Full Closure: northbound I-95 at SR 922/NW 125 Street
On Tuesday, June 24 and Wednesday, June 25 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. all lanes along northbound I-95 will be closed at SR 922/NW 125 Street and traffic will be detoured as follows:- Take the exit ramp to SR 922/NW 125 Street
- Turn left onto westbound SR 922/NW 125 Street
- Turn right onto northbound SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue
- Take the ramp onto northbound I-95
- Closure: northbound and southbound I-95 Express Lanes
From Sunday, June 22 to Saturday, June 28 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., drivers who want to take the northbound I-95 Express Lanes between NW 30 Street and SR 860/NW 183 Street/Miami Gardens Drive will be directed to use the general purpose lanes along I-95.
- Around-the-clock Ramp Closure: northbound I-95 exit to NW 151 Street
On Tuesday, June 24 at 10 p.m., the exit ramp from northbound I-95 onto NW 151 Street (Exit 11) will be closed for approximately one year. Traffic will be directed to use the next exit ramp onto eastbound SR 826/NW 167 Street (Exit 12B).
- Lane Closures: I-95 between NW 135 Street and the Golden Glades Interchange
- At 9 p.m., one lane in both directions will be closed nightly as needed
- At 11 p.m., a second lane in both directions will be closed nightly as needed
- All lanes will reopen at 5 a.m.
Florida’s Turnpike
- Lane Closures: Florida’s Turnpike between SR 860/NW 183 Street/Miami Gardens Drive and I-95
- From 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., up to two lanes in both directions will be closed nightly as needed
SR 826/Palmetto Expressway
- Lane Closures: SR 826/Palmetto Expressway between NW 12 Avenue and NW 7 Avenue Extension
- At 9 p.m., one lane in both directions will be closed nightly as needed
- At 11 p.m., a second lane in both directions will be closed nightly as needed
- All lanes will reopen at 5 a.m.
NW 151 Street
- Full Closure: NW 151 Street at the I-95 bridge
On Wednesday, June 25 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. and Friday, June 27 at 10 p.m. until Monday, June 30 at 5 a.m., NW 151 Street will be closed in both directions.
- All lanes along eastbound NW 151 Street will be closed at the I-95 bridge and traffic will be detoured as follows:
- Go south on SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue
- Turn left onto eastbound SR 916/NW 135 Street
- Turn left onto northbound NW 5 Avenue
- Turn right onto eastbound NW 151 Street
- All lanes along westbound NW 151 Street will be closed at the I-95 bridge and traffic will be detoured as follows:
- Go south on NW 5 Avenue
- Turn right onto westbound SR 916/NW 135 Street
- Turn right onto northbound SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue
- Turn left onto westbound NW 151 Street
- The ramp to southbound I-95 will remain open.
SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue
- Ramp Closure: SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue to the Golden Glades Interchange
From Friday, June 27 at 10 p.m. until Sunday, June 29 at 7 a.m., the ramp from northbound SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue to the Golden Glades Interchange will be closed and traffic will be detoured as follows:- Go south on SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue
- Turn left onto eastbound SR 916/Opa-locka Boulevard
- Take the ramp onto northbound I-95
- Ramp Closure: Golden Glades Interchange to SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue
From Friday, June 27 at 10 p.m. until Monday, June 30 at 5 a.m., the ramp from the Golden Glades Interchange to southbound SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue will be closed and traffic will be detoured as follows:- Take the ramp to southbound I-95
- Exit at SR 916/Opa-locka Boulevard and turn right onto westbound SR 916/Opa-locka Boulevard
- Turn left onto southbound SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue
- Ramp Closure: northbound SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue to northbound I-95
From Sunday, June 22 to Thursday, June 26 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.,the ramp from northbound SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue to northbound I-95 will be closed and traffic will be detoured as follows:- Take the ramp to eastbound SR 826 Beaches/NW 167 Street
- Turn left onto northbound SR 915/NE 6 Avenue
- Turn right onto eastbound SR 860/NE 183 Street/Miami Gardens Drive
- Take the ramp onto northbound I-95
- Updated Traffic Pattern: SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue between South Biscayne River Drive and Connector Road
Northbound SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue is reduced from two lanes to one lane, and southbound SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue is reduced from three lanes to two lanes. The exclusive bicycle lane is temporarily unavailable during this work phase.
SR 9
- Ramp Closure: SR 9 to the Golden Glades Interchange
From Friday, June 27 at 10 p.m. until Sunday, June 29 at 7 a.m., the ramp from northbound SR 9 to the Golden Glades Interchange will be closed and traffic will be detoured as follows:- Go east on SR 916/Opa-locka Boulevard
- Take the ramp onto northbound I-95
- Ramp Closure: Golden Glades Interchange to SR 9
From Friday, June 27 at 10 p.m. until Monday, June 30 at 5 a.m., the ramp from the Golden Glades Interchange to southbound SR 9 will be closed and traffic will be detoured as follows:- Take the ramp to southbound I-95
- Exit at SR 916/Opa-locka Boulevard and turn right onto westbound SR 916/Opa-locka Boulevard
- Turn right onto northbound NW 22 Avenue or continue west and turn right onto northbound NW 27 Avenue to access SR 9
SR 7/US 441/NW 2 Avenue
- Ramp Closure: southbound SR 7/US 441/NW 2 Avenue to NW 167 Street
On Thursday, June 26 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.,the ramp from southbound SR 7/US 441/NW 2 Avenue to NW 167 Street will be closed and traffic will be detoured as follows:- Take the ramp to southbound SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue
- Make a U-turn at NW 151 Street
- Go north on SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue
- Take the ramp to SR 826 Beaches for NW 167 Street
SR 112/Airport Expressway
- Lane Closures: SR 112/Airport Expressway between NW 22 Avenue and I-95
- At 10 p.m., one lane in both directions will be closed nightly as needed
- At 11 p.m., a second lane in both directions will be closed nightly as needed
- All lanes will reopen at 5 a.m.
NW 171 Terrace
- Around-the-clock Full Closure: NW 171 Terrace
NW 171 Terrace remains closed between NW 2 Court and NW 2 Avenue around the clock through summer 2025 for overhead bridge work. Traffic is being detoured to NW 7 Avenue Extension.
NW 6 Avenue
- Around-the-clock Full Closure: NW 6 Avenue between NW 147 Street and NW 151 Street
Northbound NW 6 Avenue between NW 147 Street and NW 151 Street will be closed around the clock from Tuesday, June 24 at 10 p.m. until Wednesday, August 13, 2025. Traffic along northbound NW 6 Avenue, which is a one-way road, will be directed to take eastbound NW 147 Street and turn left onto northbound NW 5 Avenue to access NW 151 Street.
- Around-the-clock Full Closure: NW 6 Avenue between NW 151 Street and NW 162 Street
Drivers and pedestrians who want to go north onto NW 6 Avenue from the intersection of NW 151 Street and NW 6 Avenue will be detoured as follows:- Go east along NW 151 Street
- Turn right onto southbound South Biscayne River Drive
- Take the third exit at the roundabout onto northbound North Miami Avenue
- Turn left onto northbound Memorial Highway, which converts to NW 2 Avenue
- Continue north along NW 2 Avenue to NW 165 Street
- Drivers and pedestrians who want to go south onto NW 6 Avenue from the intersection of NW 165 Street and NW 2 Avenue will be detoured as follows:
- Continue south along NW 2 Avenue, which converts to Memorial Highway
- Turn right onto southbound North Miami Avenue
- Turn right onto northbound South Biscayne River Drive
- Turn left onto westbound NW 151 Street
- Continue west along NW 151 Street to NW 6 Avenue
