The following closures are scheduled between Sunday, January 12 and Friday, January 17. These closures will allow crews to perform bridge work, roadway paving, utility work and temporary concrete barrier wall installation.
I-95
- Closure: southbound and northbound I-95 Express Lanes
From Sunday, January 12 to Friday, January 17 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., drivers who want to take the northbound and southbound I-95 Express Lanes between NW 30 Street and SR 860/NW 183 Street/Miami Gardens Drive will be detoured to use the general purpose lanes along I-95.
- Around-the-clock Ramp Closure: NW 151 Street to southbound I-95
The ramp from NW 151 Street to southbound I-95 will be closed through March 2025 and traffic is detoured as follows:- Go south on SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue
- Turn left onto eastbound NW 135 Street
- Take the ramp onto southbound I-95
- Lane Closures: I-95 between NW 135 Street and the Golden Glades Interchange
- At 9 p.m., one lane in both directions will be closed nightly as needed
- At 11 p.m., a second lane in both directions will be closed nightly as needed
- All lanes will reopen at 5 a.m.
Florida’s Turnpike
- Ramp Closure: southbound Turnpike to southbound I-95
From Sunday, January 12 to Friday, January 17 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., the ramp from southbound Turnpike to southbound I-95 will be closed, and traffic will be detoured as follows:- Continue south on the Turnpike to exit at NW 167 Street
- Turn right onto southbound NE 6 Avenue
- Turn right onto westbound Opa-locka Boulevard
- Take the ramp for southbound I-95
- Ramp Closure: southbound Turnpike to NW 167 Street
On Friday, January 17 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., the ramp from southbound Turnpike to NW 167 Street will be closed, and traffic will be detoured as follows:- Take the ramp to southbound I-95
- Exit at SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue
- Turn right on SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue
- Take the ramp to SR 826 Beaches for NW 167 Street
- Lane Closures: Florida’s Turnpike between SR 860/NW 183 Street/Miami Gardens Drive and I-95
- From 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., up to two lanes in both directions will be closed nightly as needed
Palmetto Expressway
- Ramp Closure: eastbound Palmetto Expressway to southbound I-95
From Sunday, January 12 to Friday, January 17 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., the ramp from eastbound Palmetto Expressway to southbound I-95 will be closed, and traffic will be detoured as follows:- Continue east on Palmetto Expressway to NW 7 Avenue Extension
- Turn right onto SR 7/US 441/NW 2 Avenue
- Take the ramp for southbound I-95
- Lane Closures: Palmetto Expressway between NW 12 Avenue and NW 7 Avenue Extension
- At 9 p.m., one lane in both directions will be closed nightly as needed
- At 11 p.m., a second lane in both directions will be closed nightly as needed
- All lanes will reopen at 5 a.m.
SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue
- Updated Traffic Pattern: SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue between South Biscayne River Drive and Connector Road
Northbound SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue is reduced from two lanes to one lane, and southbound SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue is reduced from three lanes to two lanes. The exclusive bicycle lane is temporarily unavailable during this work phase.
NW 167 Street
- Ramp Closure: NW 167 Street to I-95, SR 9 and SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue
On Monday, January 13, Tuesday, January 14 and Friday, January 17 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., the ramp from NW 167 Street to southbound I-95, SR 9 and SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue will be closed, and traffic will be detoured as follows:- Take the ramp to westbound SR 826/Palmetto Expressway
- Exit at NW 12 Avenue and turn left onto southbound NW 12 Avenue
- Turn left and take the ramp to eastbound SR 826/Palmetto Expressway
- Take the ramp to southbound I-95 and SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue
NW 151 Street
- Full Closure: NW 151 Street between SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue and I-95
From Wednesday, January 15 to Friday, January 17 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., NW 151 Street will be closed in both directions.
- All lanes along eastbound NW 151 Street will be closed nightly between SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue and I-95 and traffic will be detoured as follows:
- Go south on SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue
- Turn left onto eastbound SR 916/NW 135 Street
- Turn left onto northbound NW 5 Avenue
- Turn right onto eastbound NW 151 Street
- All lanes along westbound NW 151 Street will be closed nightly between SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue and I-95 and traffic will be detoured as follows:
- Go south on NW 5 Avenue
- Turn right onto westbound SR 916/NW 135 Street
- Turn right onto northbound SR 7/US 441/NW 7 Avenue
- Turn left onto westbound NW 151 Street
NW 6 Avenue
- Around-the-clock Full Closure: NW 6 Avenue between NW 151 Street and NW 162 Street
Drivers and pedestrians who want to go north onto NW 6 Avenue from the intersection of NW 151 Street and NW 6 Avenue will be detoured as follows:- Go east along NW 151 Street
- Turn right onto southbound South Biscayne River Drive
- Take the third exit at the roundabout onto northbound North Miami Avenue
- Turn left onto northbound Memorial Highway, which converts to NW 2 Avenue
- Continue north along NW 2 Avenue to NW 165 Street
- Drivers and pedestrians who want to go south onto NW 6 Avenue from the intersection of NW 165 Street and NW 2 Avenue will be detoured as follows:
- Continue south along NW 2 Avenue, which converts to Memorial Highway
- Turn right onto southbound North Miami Avenue
- Turn right onto northbound South Biscayne River Drive
- Turn left onto westbound NW 151 Street
- Continue west along NW 151 Street to NW 6 Avenue
